Corona, California (April 26, 2017) – The Fab School, an automotive training school with an enviable record for producing employable graduates, this year is making its expertise available to the Lucas Oil Off Road Racing community as the Official Metal Fabrication and Welding School for the Southern California Regional Series.
"We're proud to have the Fab School involved in the Regional series again," series director Lee Perfect said. "It's a great match for our series and racers.
"The Fab School has the latest top of the line equipment and technology to teach beginners and even people with experience new procedures and techniques. All these skills can be used in our pits and in all racing industries."
Brittany Westhoff, the school's director of social media and marketing, said The Fab School's involvement with Lucas Oil Off Road Racing's regional and national series reflects school founder Troy Johnson's long involvement in desert and short-course racing and the passion he and the other instructors have for the sport.
The Fab School also is supporting the national series by sponsoring the Crew Chief of the Year Award and the Mod Kart Fast Lap of the Race Award, both of which will be presented at the series annual end-of-season awards banquet, and as the "Tech Tip" sponsor for 16 shows on the CBS Sports Network and 16 on MAVTV the Motorsports Network.
