Tell us about your racing background and what brought you to the Lucas Oil Regional Series: Well, I use to watch my Dad and Karl Scanlan race in the desert for years, and I thought I’d give it a go. With no racing experience, I started in the J1 Kart class in the Lucas Oil Regional Series when I was 8 years old.
Tell us about your racing background and what brought you to the Lucas Oil Regional Series: I started off racing in the desert in 2012 we built a Polaris RZR and started racing BITD. Then shortly after that I also started racing the WORCS short course racing. In between these series I would go to the grand prix races. In 2 of the Worcs races they incorporate the Lucas track in their track and I took a liking to the track. When I had heard that Lucas had a UTV class I decided to go to a race, and from there I was hooked. Then from watching the Pro Lite class “I thought one day I’m gonna’ do that”. An opportunity came my way and I ended up with a pro lite spec truck.
Tell us about your racing background and what brought you into the Lucas Oil Regional Series: What brought me into the Lucas Oil Regional Series is that my dad owns a business called Xtreme Machine and Fabrication. His business builds Prolites, Mod Karts, RZR 1000 and RZR 170s. I was looking for a way to race that we could afford.
Tell us about your racing background and what brought you to the Lucas Oil Regional Series: It all started when I was two years old doing donuts on my 50cc Quad. I was so small I couldn’t even touch the floor guards. When I was five I got my first trophy kart and raced the Podium Series out at Lake Elsinore before they even had the main track they have today. I remember being the youngest driver and taking home first place for the championship. The season was over and I began racing motocross until my tenth birthday when my dad brought home my first ever Mod Kart. I raced Mods for 4 years and then had the opportunity to step into a Pro Lite for the first time this year.
Tell us how old you are and what class you race in: I am 11 years old and I race a Jr 1.
Do you or your family have a racing background? How did you come to race the Lucas Oil Regional Series? My Dad and Uncle Bill have been racing for over almost 35 years. They raced motorcycles and off road. I got into this sport because of them. I can remember going to watch them in the Baja 1000 when I was younger.
